# Get epics

`GET /rest/agile/1.0/board/{boardId}/epic`

Returns all epics from the board, for the given board ID. This only includes epics that the user has permission to view. Note, if the user does not have permission to view the board, no epics will be returned at all.

## Path parameters

- `boardId` integer, required

## Query parameters

- `startAt` integer
- `maxResults` integer
- `done` string

## Response `200`

Returns the requested epics, at the specified page of the results.

## Other responses

- `400` — Returned if the request is invalid.
- `401` — Returned if the user is not logged in.
- `403` — Returned if the user does not have valid license.
- `404` — Returned if board does not exist or the user does not have permission to view it.
