# Delete a group

`DELETE /groups/{group_id}`

Allows a user to delete the group specified by the group name

## Path parameters

- `group_id` string, required

## Response `204`

successfully deleted group

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthenticated, no token is provided or token is invalid
- `403` — Access is forbidden
- `404` — The specified resource was not found
- `500` — Internal server error
