# Edit playlist metadata and items

`PATCH /playlists/{playlist_id}`

This modifies name and type of a playlist Previously name and type were mandatory while filter wasn't. this has been reversed.

## Path parameters

- `playlist_id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `name` string
- `type` 'public' | 'private'
- `owner` string
- `items` string
- `tracks` string

## Request body

- PlaylistEditRequest
  - `name` string
  - `type` 'public' | 'private'
  - `owner` string — User id (-1 = System playlist)
  - `items` string — Comma-separated song_id list
  - `tracks` string — Comma-separated playlist track numbers matched to items

## Response `200`
