# List collections

`GET /collections`

A collection is a hand-curated list of objects of any type: the static counterpart to a search, and the non-media counterpart to a playlist. This returns every collection you own plus every public one, optionally narrowed to the collections pinned to a single object_type.

## Query parameters

- `type` string
- `offset` integer
- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

## Other responses

- `400` — HTTP 400 Bad Request (errors 4705, 4710).
- `401` — HTTP 401 Unauthorized (error 4701).
- `403` — HTTP 403 Forbidden (errors 4700, 4703, 4742).
- `500` — HTTP 500 Internal Server Error (error 4702).
