# List playlist folders

`GET /playlist-folders`

A playlist folder organises playlists, smartlists and collections into a private tree. The tree belongs to you alone and is never visible to another user, so filing someone else's public playlist changes nothing for them. The whole tree is returned as a flat list; rebuild the hierarchy from each folder's parent, where 0 is the root.

## Other responses

- `400` — HTTP 400 Bad Request (errors 4705, 4710).
- `401` — HTTP 401 Unauthorized (error 4701).
- `403` — HTTP 403 Forbidden (errors 4700, 4703, 4742).
- `500` — HTTP 500 Internal Server Error (error 4702).
