# Perform actions on a catalog file

`POST /catalogs/{catalog_id}/file`

Perform actions on local catalog files. Single file versions of catalog add, clean, verify and remove (delete) Make sure you remember to urlencode those file names!

## Path parameters

- `catalog_id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `file` string
- `task` string

## Request body

- CatalogFileRequest
  - `file` string, required
  - `task` string, required — add,clean,verify,remove (comma-separated allowed)

## Response `200`

- `400` — HTTP 400 Bad Request (errors 4705, 4710).
- `401` — HTTP 401 Unauthorized (error 4701).
