# POST /target-create-windows

`POST /target-create-windows`

## Request body

- TargetCreateWindows — GatewayCreateProducerWindowsCmd is a command that creates a new windows target
  - `certificate` string — SSL CA certificate in base64 encoding generated from a trusted Certificate Authority (CA)
  - `connection-type` string — Type of connection to Windows Server [credentials/parent-target]
  - `delete_protection` string — Protection from accidental deletion of this object [true/false]
  - `description` string — Description of the object
  - `domain` string — User domain name
  - `hostname` string, required — Server hostname
  - `json` boolean — Set output format to JSON
  - `key` string — The name of a key that used to encrypt the target secret value (if empty, the account default protectionKey key will be used)
  - `max-versions` string — Set the maximum number of versions, limited by the account settings defaults.
  - `name` string, required — Target name
  - `parent-target-name` string — Name of the parent target, relevant only when connection-type is parent-target
  - `password` string, required — Privileged user password
  - `port` string — Server WinRM port
  - `token` string — Authentication token (see `/auth` and `/configure`)
  - `uid-token` string — The universal identity token, Required only for universal_identity authentication
  - `use-tls` string — Enable/Disable TLS for WinRM over HTTPS [true/false]
  - `username` string, required — Privileged username
