# POST /rotated-secret-delete

`POST /rotated-secret-delete`

## Request body

- RotatedSecretDelete — rotatedSecretDelete is a command that deletes a rotated secret
  - `json` boolean — Set output format to JSON
  - `name` string, required — Rotated secret name
  - `token` string — Authentication token (see `/auth` and `/configure`)
  - `uid-token` string — The universal identity token, Required only for universal_identity authentication
  - `version` integer — The specific version you want to delete, -1=entire item with all versions (default)

## Response `200`

rotatedSecretDeleteResponse wraps response body.

- DeleteItemOutput
  - `deletion_date` string, date-time
  - `item_id` integer
  - `item_name` string
  - `version_deleted` integer

## Other responses

- `default` — errorResponse wraps any error to return it as a JSON object with one "error" field.
