# POST /revoke-certificate

`POST /revoke-certificate`

## Request body

- RevokeCertificate — RevokeCertificate is a command that revokes a certificate and adds it to the crl
  - `item-id` integer — The item id of the certificate to revoke
  - `json` boolean — Set output format to JSON
  - `name` string — Certificate item name to revoke
  - `serial-number` string — The serial number of the certificate to revoke
  - `token` string — Authentication token (see `/auth` and `/configure`)
  - `uid-token` string — The universal identity token, Required only for universal_identity authentication
  - `version` integer — Certificate version to revoke. Required if item-id or name are used.

## Response `200`

RevokeCertificateResponse wraps response body.

- `default` — errorResponse wraps any error to return it as a JSON object with one "error" field.
