# POST /kmip-set-environment-state

`POST /kmip-set-environment-state`

## Request body

- KmipSetServerState — kmipSetServerState is a command that sets the environment state to active/inactive.
  - `json` boolean — Set output format to JSON
  - `state` string, required
  - `token` string — Authentication token (see `/auth` and `/configure`)
  - `uid-token` string — The universal identity token, Required only for universal_identity authentication

## Response `200`

kmipSetServerStateResponse wraps response body.

  - `is_active` boolean

## Other responses

- `default` — errorResponse wraps any error to return it as a JSON object with one "error" field.
