# POST /decrypt-with-classic-key

`POST /decrypt-with-classic-key`

## Request body

- DecryptWithClassicKey
  - `ciphertext` string, required — Ciphertext to be decrypted in base64 encoded format
  - `display-id` string, required — The name of the key to use in the encryption process
  - `ignore-cache` string — Retrieve the Secret value without checking the Gateway's cache [true/false]. This flag is only relevant when using the RestAPI
  - `json` boolean — Set output format to JSON
  - `token` string — Authentication token (see `/auth` and `/configure`)
  - `uid-token` string — The universal identity token, Required only for universal_identity authentication
  - `version` integer, required — classic key version

## Response `200`

decryptWithClassicKeyResponse wraps response body.

  - `result` string

## Other responses

- `default` — errorResponse wraps any error to return it as a JSON object with one "error" field.
