# POST /decrypt-pkcs1

`POST /decrypt-pkcs1`

## Request body

- DecryptPKCS1
  - `ciphertext` string, required — Ciphertext to be decrypted in base64 encoded format
  - `display-id` string — The display id of the key to use in the decryption process
  - `item-id` integer — The item id of the key to use in the decryption process
  - `json` boolean — Set output format to JSON
  - `key-name` string, required — The name of the key to use in the decryption process
  - `output-format` string — If specified, the output will be formatted accordingly. options: [base64]
  - `token` string — Authentication token (see `/auth` and `/configure`)
  - `uid-token` string — The universal identity token, Required only for universal_identity authentication
  - `version` integer — key version (relevant only for classic key)

## Response `200`

decryptPKCS1Response wraps response body.

- DecryptPKCS1Output
  - `plaintext` string

## Other responses

- `default` — errorResponse wraps any error to return it as a JSON object with one "error" field.
