# Creates Alerts

`POST /alerts`

When an alert is triggered in an external system, indicating that a predefined condition has been met for a monitored metric or event, alerts are promptly sent (via email, SMS, or other channels) to Aisera's alert ingestion API. This customizable alerting system helps ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
