# Delete Thread

`DELETE /v0/inboxes/{inbox_id}/threads/{thread_id}`

Permanently deletes a thread and all of its messages.

**CLI:**

agentmail inboxes:threads delete --inbox-id <inbox_id> --thread-id <thread_id>
```

## Path parameters

- `inbox_id` string, required — The ID of the inbox.
- `thread_id` string, required — ID of thread.

## Response `204`
