# Edit Evaluator

`PUT /evaluators/{evaluator_id}`

Edit an evaluator artifact's metadata.

Edits are limited to metadata fields (description, tags, meta).
Renaming is temporarily disabled and returns 400. To change
evaluator behavior, commit a new revision on the variant — see
`/evaluators/revisions/commit`.
