# Create Job Measurements Order

`POST /jobs/{jobId}/measurements/files`

Use this endpoint to create a measurements order with the external provider Information for a specific job.
- The measurement file can be an XML or JSON file.
  - The file content has to be a valid XML or JSON structure.
  - The file must contain the measurements order information with the measurements to be created.
- A report PDF can be attached.
- A list of PDF files can be attached.
- Special characters and spaces will be removed from all the file names before upload.
- The PDF files content will not be validated, only the type as PDF and the file size.

This endpoint is rate limited. Use the `RateLimit-*` response headers to check current limits and remaining quota.

## Response `202`

Accepted

- JobMeasurement
  - `measurementOrderId` string, uuid — The created measurement order unique identifier.

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The server cannot process the request due to a client error. Common causes: - Invalid request format - Missing required fields - Validation errors in the request data
- `401` — Unauthorized - Authentication is required or has failed. Common causes: - Missing API key - Invalid API key - Expired or deactivated API key
- `404` — Not Found - The requested resource does not exist. Common causes: - Invalid subscription ID - Subscription has been deleted - URL path contains typos or incorrect values
- `412` — Precondition Failed - The request cannot be completed due to failed preconditions. Common causes: - Attempting to update a subscription with invalid topic names - Trying to create a subscription with an invalid URL - Validation errors specific to the operation
- `416` — Range Not Satisfiable - The requested page of results is not available. Common causes: - pageStartIndex is beyond the available data range - Invalid pagination parameters
- `429` — Too Many Requests
