# Get Estimate Section Item

`GET /estimates/{estimateId}/sections/{estimateSectionId}/items/{estimateItemId}`

Use this endpoint to get a specific estimate item.

## Path parameters

- `estimateId` string, uuid, required
- `estimateSectionId` string, uuid, required
- `estimateItemId` string, uuid, required

OK

- EstimateItem
  - `id` string, uuid — The unique ID for the item.
  - `name` string — The name of the item.
  - `overrideName` string — A custom, overridden name for the estimate item.
  - `description` string — Description of the estimate item.
  - `materialCost` number — Cost for materials.
  - `laborCost` number — Cost for labor.
  - `waste` number — Any waste recorded for the item.
  - `estimateUnit` string — The unit of measurement for the item.
  - `orderUnit` string — The unit of measurement to be ordered.
  - `unitConversion` number — A conversion between the estimate unit and the order unit.
  - `selectedUnit` number — Whether the item uses the estimate unit or order unit. Expected values: 1 - Order, 2 - Estimate.
  - `type` 'SKU' | 'Product' | 'CustomSKU' | 'Labor' | 'SKUAndLabor' — The type of item in the catalog.
  - `totalPrice` number — The total price for the item.
  - `fixedPrice` boolean — Whether the price for the item is fixed or calculated.
  - `price` number — The price per unit of the item.
  - `quantity` number — The quantity of the item included in the estimate.
  - `measurementQuantity` number — The measured quantity of the item.
  - `orderQuantity` number — The ordered quantity of the item.
  - `_link` string — The unique URI of the Estimate Item.

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The server cannot process the request due to a client error. Common causes: - Invalid request format - Missing required fields - Validation errors in the request data
- `401` — Unauthorized - Authentication is required or has failed. Common causes: - Missing API key - Invalid API key - Expired or deactivated API key
- `404` — Not Found - The requested resource does not exist. Common causes: - Invalid subscription ID - Subscription has been deleted - URL path contains typos or incorrect values
